Sales Consultant

We are looking for a Sales Consultant to drive high‑end furniture sales at La‑Z‑Boy Galleries located in Brookfield, CT. The role focuses on delivering a premium customer experience, generating commissions, and contributing to store performance. Job Summary Sell Luxury. Live Modern. Earn Without Limits. Location & Compensation Brookfield, CT. Base salary plus unlimited commission. Key Responsibilities Guide high‑end clients through a premium sales experience. Curate luxury looks and present furniture and décor. Execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process and maintain customer satisfaction. Assist with design consultations, product presentations, and promotional programs. Maintain product knowledge, records, and operations including visual merchandising, order logs, and store cleanliness. Support sales, training, and team culture. Essential Experience & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Prior sales or retail experience, preferably in luxury goods. Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, and customer‑service skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficient with Microsoft Office and sales systems. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Benefits & Compensation Training pay $17/hour for 2–6 weeks (no commission). Average annual earnings potential $35,000–$55,000+ after training. Base pay $14/hour (varies by location). Uncapped commission: 3% on Design sales, 2% on other sales. Quarterly bonus opportunity of $1,500 based on sales goals.
