Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Psychiatry | Boston Childrens Hospital
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Inpatient Psychiatry Unit in Boston, a 16-bed secure inpatient unit. Key Responsibilities
- Providing nursing care to patients and families in our inpatient psychiatric unit
- Maintaining a safe and therapeutic milieu.
- Providing education to patients and families.
- Facilitating group therapies.
- Overseeing behavioral tech and counselor staff.
- 36 hours, day/evening/night rotations, every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
- A bachelor's degree in nursing
Experience:
- 1+ years of RN experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Inpatient and pediatric experience preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
