Role: Business Risk Analyst (#2072720)
Location: 820 Follin Lane SE, Vienna, VA 22180 (Hybrid - 2 days/week onsite)
Duration: Long-term rolling contract

Position Summary


The Business Risk Analyst will support the risk function by evaluating and analyzing risks of varying complexity and implementing mitigation strategies.


This role may focus on financial, operational, or regulatory risk and will provide expert guidance to management.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and the ability to work independently on high-impact projects.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop and plan specialized risk assessment scopes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine risk assessment strategies
• Identify business risks and recommend mitigation solutions
• Analyze data and present findings to leadership
• Lead and support risk assessments and compliance testing
• Drive process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
• Prepare and deliver risk reports and recommendations to management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Auditing, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of risk-based auditing and regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of operational and regulatory risk control practices
• Proven experience managing cross-functional projects
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
