Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
The Wound Care Registered Nurse will be part of a specialized consulting team, providing recommendations and specialized care for patients with wound, ostomy, and/or continence needs. This role requires extensive knowledge and practical skills in wound care to effectively assess and manage patients' conditions.
Consult and collaborate with healthcare teams to address complex wound care needs.
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on wound care management and related health conditions.
Utilize Cerner for patient documentation and data management.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Wound Care specialty.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Certified Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification is required.
