Overview
Registered Nurse - PCU (IMCU) travel assignment in Utica, New York. Start date 09/07/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,247-$2,417 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:30a-7p) with floating to related units as needed; block scheduling is not promised. You'll work in a high-acuity IMCU/PCU setting, caring for adults with neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory needs.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in the IMCU/PCU, focusing on neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory disorders
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient status, interpret assessments, and respond to changes promptly
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; manage chronic vent support with RT assistance as needed
- Prepare and assist with procedures (e.g., chest tubes, arterial lines) and post-operative care; manage abrupt clinical changes
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Epic electronic medical record; communicate with the multidisciplinary team
- Participate in patient flow and bed management, with required floating to related units as assigned
- Adhere to infection control policies and patient safety protocols to support positive outcomes

Requirements
- Active NY RN license; NURSYS license verification required with ALL RN licenses
- Minimum 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- EPIC EMR experience
- Ability to work in a high-acuity, adult-focused unit and float to related areas as needed
- RTO (time-off requests) must be included at time of submission
- Must be able to meet the on-site schedule and guaranteed hours for a 13-week assignment
