A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology Job Details: • Work 5x8 hour shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM - 10:00 AM and ending times between 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM • No holiday coverage required • No on-call responsibilities • May be required to work Saturdays twice per month if needed for PETCT scans due to equipment issues or excessive backlog • Minimum 1 year of experience required • First-time travelers accepted • Level I and II trauma experience preferred • Siemens equipment experience required • Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or (CT), SCRQSA (State License) in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography • Agency must supply radiation badge - facility does not provide to travelers • Epic charting system experience preferred • Work with patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics • Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including PET scans, bone scans, cardiac imaging, and other specialized nuclear medicine studies • Dress code: Teal top with black pants • Parking fee: One-time $20 payment for parking pass (nights and weekends only) • Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • Block schedule accommodation possible with prior approval • During hurricane season (June-November), may be assigned to emergency response teams Facility: This is a comprehensive teaching hospital and Level 1 trauma center with Magnet designation, featuring 865 staffed beds.
