Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team in Atlanta, GA. This position will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger activity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced accounting environment. What You'll Do Manage accounts payable processing, including invoice entry, credit card transactions, cash receipts, and related accounting activity. Enter payroll information, assist with payroll reconciliations, and prepare monthly statements for outstanding accounts receivable. Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger and credit card accounts, and assist with account analysis and discrepancy resolution. Support month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, audits, and maintenance of accurate financial records and supporting documentation. What We're Looking For Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Previous accounting experience with accounts payable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting . Experience with Sage Intacct preferred, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills. Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. What You'll Bring Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger processes. High degree of accuracy when entering, reviewing, and reconciling financial information. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with accounting and operational teams.
