Job Summary StrategyGen is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Health Care Actuary to consult with our team. Your expertise will help ensure that health care health insurers, plans, and issuers adhere to state and federal regulations. Responsibilities may include conducting state government compliance reviews, health audits, or market conduct examinations. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive compliance reviews and audits of health insurers, plans, and issuers. Perform market conduct examinations to assess adherence to state and federal regulations. Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on findings. Collaborate with state government agencies, health insurers, plans, and issuers, and other stakeholders to address compliance issues. Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements and best practices. Stay up to date with changes in state health care regulations and policies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field. Proven experience in health care actuarial or similar work, preferably with state government compliance reviews. Familiarity with state government health audits or market conduct examinations is highly desirable. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have either an Associate (ACAS) or Fellow (FCAS) Casualty Actuarial Society credential. This is a remote position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
