Operates coffee-making equipment, dismantling and cleaning machinery as needed. Prepares and presents beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards. Accurately totals, processes, and collects payments from guests using the point-of-sale system. Handles money, processes credit and debit card transactions, and makes change while complying with cash-handling and loss prevention SOPs. Demonstrates knowledge and enthusiasm about the restaurant's menu and products. Ensures guest satisfaction and resolves issues or concerns, enlisting Manager assistance if necessary. Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. Assists with new team member training, reinforcing successful performance. Supports other restaurant areas as requested, including seating customers, answering telephones, stock work, cleanup, and documentation. Maintains a clean, organized work environment free of safety hazards (trashing, sweeping, mopping, dishes). Receives positive Secret Shopper scores and asks correct SMG-related questions for positive comments. Complies with all local, state, federal laws and regulations, including food safety. Performs other duties as assigned. Education, Experience, Certifications High School diploma or GED required. Food and Beverage experience preferred but not required. Customer service focused and solution oriented. Able to take direction and collaborate in a team environment. Able to work in a high-energy, demanding environment. Knowledge of math to figure cost, make change, and perform cash handling procedures. Effective communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with other team members. Can work unsupervised for extensive periods and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers. ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred. Position Qualifications Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team-oriented environment. Excellent customer service skills and strong communication in English. Strong self‑motivation, leadership, and organizational skills. Positive interpersonal skills and self‑starter capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected situations. Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, climbing a ladder, and walking long distances.
