Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital Department: Physical Rehab Svcs - Admin Position is located: 65 Church Street Work Type: Full Time Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Salary Range : $ 17.00 - $24.15 Exempt: No Summary : The person filling this position is responsible for reception, scheduling, registration, insurance verification/authorization, coding, referral management and chart management of the Rehabiliation. This individual is vital to the day to day operations of the department and acts as the first contact to referral sources and patients. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential to work in this dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities : Reports to work as scheduled - attendance, punctuality. (e.g., reliability). Acts as a role model for other employees within the department or organization. Adheres to Northern Light Dress & Hygiene Policy. Maintains and exhibits a professional, positive attitude towards co-workers, work, and organization. Demonstrates a commitment to co-workers, job duties, and organization (e.g., team player). Provides excellent customer service, both for internal and/or external customers. Responds to phone calls, voice mail messages, and emails in a timely manner.
