Skill Set

Most recruited for: Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Ability to care for both low risk and high risk obstetric patients

Ability to circulate a c-section

NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM-C or AWHONN Intermediate or advance fetal monitoring

Strong patient experience skills

Must have NBSTA and DORA Certifications

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Comfortable with unblocked/unepiduralized patients

Strong collaboration skills with physicians, midwives, and doulas

Mom/Baby, couplet care experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Cerclages, versions, c-sections, vaginal deliveries, D&C's, care of fetal demise, epidurals

Best personality fit: Strong teamwork, cheerful, collaborative, strong leader
