Mental Health Professional- PRN

Job Description TLC, The Treatment and Learning Centers, is seeking licensed mental health clinicians (psychologists, psychology associates, and counselors) for PRN/Part Time positions (6 hours/week minimum) in our outpatient center in Rockville, MD. Prior experience working with young children and children with autism spectrum disorders preferred. It is an interdisciplinary organization serving more than 2,000 neurodiverse individuals each year with a wide range of special needs. We use a holistic and strengths‑based approach that considers needs in the home, at work or school, and in the community, working across disciplines to address the needs of the whole person. Pay rate between $35 to $56/hour depending on experience and licensure. Work Hours Monday‑Thursday 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm Saturday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm Required Experience Desire to work with clients of all ages, especially children ages 5‑12 and families Experience with play therapy, client‑centered therapy, CBT, and social skills group therapy preferred Interest and experience working with neurodiverse presentations including autism Flexibility in providing support to our other services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, Outcomes Adult Services, and a non‑public school serving pre‑kindergarten through 12th grade LCSW and maintain a current MD license; OR LCPC or LGPC and maintain a current MD license; OR Ph.D. or Psy.D. or Psych Associate and maintain a current MD license Benefits Flexible work hours and hybrid remote/ in‑person counseling available A community of clinicians who are passionate about assisting families and promoting success of the individuals with whom we work Access to engaging multisensory and play spaces for children, including a sensory room Case conferences with experienced clinicians High value placed on quality care, lending to a smaller caseload compared to the average outpatient setting Free parking #J-18808-Ljbffr TLC - The Treatment and Learning Centers
