Newborn Hearing Screener

The Newborn Hearing Screener under the tutelage of licensed Audiologist is responsible for assessing all newborns for hearing using Otoaccoustics Emission and/or Algo hearing screeners. Documents the results in the Electronic Medical Records and log, as well as communicates to the Audiologist all missed patients for follow-up appointments and maintains a tracking system.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or GED
• Experience in a healthcare setting - Preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Proficiently read and write in English
• Legible handwriting
• Moderate data processing/typing skills.
• Ability to meet public, communicate clearly with people and other professionals.
