Role Overview

Join a dynamic hospital radiology department in Doylestown, Pennsylvania as a Mammography Technologist. This 13-week contract in Bucks County provides the opportunity to perform diagnostic mammography and breast imaging in a patient-centered hospital setting. Work with an experienced team of radiologists and technologists while serving patients in zip code 18901 and surrounding communities.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,260 – $2,430
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday 9:30am–6:00pm; Friday 8:30am–5:00pm
• Hours per Week: 40
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Setting: Hospital radiology department, on-site
• Weekend Requirement: One weekend required per contract

Required Qualifications

• Certified Mammography Technologist with minimum 3 years of mammography experience
• Current CEUs and continuing education in mammography and breast imaging
• Provide training documentation and completed mammograms from the last 24 months
• Familiarity with hospital imaging protocols and patient safety procedures

Preferred Certifications and Skills

• ARRT Mammography certification or state licensure where applicable
• Experience with digital mammography, tomosynthesis, and diagnostic breast imaging
• Strong communication skills and ability to ensure patient comfort and informed consent
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and comply with MQSA guidelines

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with hospital protocols
• Operate digital mammography and tomosynthesis equipment, positioning patients and optimizing image quality
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy throughout the imaging process
• Maintain accurate records, image documentation, and patient reports
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, breast surgeons, and the broader clinical team
• Participate in ongoing training, quality assurance activities, and maintain current CEUs
