Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR in New Florence, MO. The Electrical Estimator leads the preconstruction and estimating process for large-scale industrial, commercial, and healthcare electrical projects ranging from $20M to $30M. This role involves developing accurate cost models, performing detailed take-offs, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver competitive bids. The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of experience in high-value electrical construction and a deep understanding of NEC and healthcare-specific codes. Job Type: Permanent Annual Salary: $100,000 to $150,000 Annually BOE Licenses/Certifications Required: ASPE certification AACE certification Responsibilities: Lead the preparation of comprehensive estimates for industrial, large commercial, and healthcare electrical projects ranging from $20 to $30 million. Perform detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labor cost analysis based on project drawings and specifications. Develop budgets, conceptual estimates, and cost models during the design and preconstruction phases. Identify and analyze risk factors, value engineering options, and cost-saving opportunities to improve project outcomes. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure the accuracy and constructability of all estimates. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to obtain competitive pricing. Participate in bid reviews, project presentations, and contract negotiations. Mentor and support junior estimators to foster team growth and professional development. Stay current with industry trends, National Electrical Code (NEC) updates, and innovations to ensure a competitive advantage. Qualifications: 5+ years of electrical estimating experience with a focus on industrial, large commercial, or healthcare sectors. Proven track record developing estimates for projects valued at $10M or more. Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and healthcare-specific electrical codes. Proficiency in estimating software such as Accubid, McCormick, or ConEst. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel. Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills. Strong communication and negotiation abilities for client and vendor interaction. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard for prolonged periods. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting may be required occasionally. Pay Transparency: The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $100,000 to $150,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
