Job Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall guest readiness of hotel guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role plays a critical part in ensuring every guest feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they arrive. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, professionalism, and a strong commitment to hospitality standards. Key Responsibilities Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel brand and company standards Change linens, make beds, dust, vacuum, and sanitize all assigned rooms Restock guest room supplies including towels, toiletries, and amenities Clean public areas including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common spaces as needed Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and damaged items promptly Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures Maintain proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies Support laundry operations when needed Assist teammates and departments as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Deliver friendly and professional guest interactions when encountered on property How You’ll Bring Our Core Values to Life Lead with a Hospitality Heart Create a warm, welcoming environment through cleanliness, kindness, and attention to guest comfort. Qualifications Previous housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning experience preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly Weekend and holiday availability required Why Join The Buxton?
