Construction Field Mechanic

Equipment Maintenance Technician

Purpose: Responsible for the maintenance and repair of company-owned or leased construction equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications/Experience:

• At least 4 years of relevant mechanical or equipment repair experience, including work on tools, small engines, trucks, mini excavators, directional drills, etc.
• Ability to perform welding and minor fabrication.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across a variety of heavy and light equipment.
• Excellent attendance is a must
• Valid driver's license is mandatory.
• High school diploma or GED required

Physical Demands:

• Work is performed in a shop or jobsite setting. Conditions may be hot or cold, depending on the season.
• Work site conditions can be loud at times.
• While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be required to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, climb, stoop and bend.
• Periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
