Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Support nursing leadership in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
• Monitor and manage appropriate resources related to patient care at the unit level
• Ensure competency of clinical staff through ongoing oversight and accountability

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Emergency Room / Emergency Department clinical experience
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage acute and emergent patient conditions
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a supervisory or charge nurse capacity within an emergency department
• Familiarity with resource management and staffing coordination at the unit level
