Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:


- Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in coordinating care.
- Collect and analyze relevant data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
- Develop and implement care plans to promote health and ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing exceptional patient care.
- Provide learning opportunities for patients and family members as well as for team members.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Acute care facility experience preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale knowledge required.
- Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience required.
