Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician with RDMS and RVT certifications and Level II OB experience to join our team. This role is integral to providing quality patient care through ultrasound imaging.

Shift Details

Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday to Tuesday

Facility Information

Location: Franklin, NC
Type: 30-bed critical access facility
Ultrasound Rooms: 2 dedicated ultrasound rooms
Staff Composition:
- 1 Full-Time (New Grad)
- 2 Part-Time Seasoned Technicians
- 2 Travelers

Patient Care and Equipment

Patient Ratios: Exams scheduled every 30 minutes to 1 hour
Equipment: GE Logic E10, Trophons, Parks Flolab
EMR System: Cerner, Philips Intellispace PACS

Qualifications

Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARDMS (Abdominal or OB certification)
- Preferred: Vascular RVT Registry
Skills & Experience:
- OB experience is essential
- Ability to perform general ultrasound and vascular scans
Preferred Skills:
- High-risk OB experience

Work Environment

Team Culture: Looking for team players who can complete exams within 30-45 minutes and are able to write reports. A no-drama work environment is essential.
Floating Areas: Outpatient ultrasound for proficient candidates
Dress Code: Scrub color: Black

Availability for Call

One night of call per week
One weekend of call per month after scheduled shifts
Approximately 6-8 days of call each month
