Lube Technician - Quick LaneLube technician must be able to assist with vehicle maintenance and light care like oil changes and tire rotations. Also assisting in quick care maintenance such as tire repair, various lubricated system flushes and providing a complete multipoint inspection of our client's motor vehicle.Essential DutiesPerform multipoint inspectionsInspect all vehicles for additional repairsCommunicate additional service/repair needs to service advisorsCheck tire pressureLubricate moving parts with specified lubricantsDrain oil from crankcase and refill with the required amount of oilAdd water to radiator and batteryReplace oil and air filtersPerform preventative maintenance on all Nissans modelsReceive training on Ford diagnostic equipmentTrain alongside a Ford Master or Senior TechnicianKeep your bay and work area clean and any other duties neededAdhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conductFollow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt, and harsh chemicalsQualificationsAbility to learn, apply and comprehend instructions from Management and Technicians.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
