Physical Therapist Assistant - Waxahachie, TX! Full‑time position. Compensation ranges from $26 to $38 per hour. Pay is $26-32 per hour depending on experience, plus a productivity bonus that can add up to $6.87/hr on top of base rate. A sign‑on bonus up to $3,000 and relocation assistance are available. Schedule is flex time between 7 am‑7 pm Monday‑Friday. Caseload/productivity expectation: 12 visits per 8‑hour day. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team in Waxahachie. As a vital member of our rehabilitation staff, you will work collaboratively with licensed Physical Therapists to provide high‑quality care and support to patients on their journey to recovery. Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans and evaluating patient progress. Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and functional training. Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques and home programs. Apply therapeutic modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary health‑care team to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Contribute to a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients and colleagues. Qualifications Graduate from a CAPTE‑accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current Texas state license or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology. Proficiency in exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques. Experience in sports rehabilitation preferred. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. Passion for physical therapy and genuine commitment to patient care. Outgoing and energetic personality with a positive attitude. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment.
