Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments through targeted interviews, observations, and analysis of medical records to determine the emotional and social factors affecting each student's recovery process.

• Deliver empathetic counseling and emotional support to students and their families, addressing their adjustment difficulties and promoting positive mental health.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to design individualized treatment plans that integrate the psychosocial needs of the students.

• Facilitate access to crucial community resources, such as support groups, vocational services, and housing assistance, to aid students' reintegration into their communities.

• Provide educational guidance to families regarding community resources and aftercare services following rehabilitation.

• Participate in discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for students returning home or moving to different care settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve students facing a range of challenges, including but not limited to physical injuries, behavioral health issues, and mental health crises. You will ensure that each student receives tailored support, empowering them to overcome barriers and thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.

• A strong understanding of developmental psychology, adjustment issues related to disability or illness, and coping strategies for grief and loss.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with students and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, along with the opportunity for a sign-on bonus.
