Pot Washer/Stocking

Excelcare at Norwood is seeking a dependable and hardworking Pot Washer /Stocking to support our Dietary Services team in a skilled nursing setting. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment while ensuring proper storage and handling of food and supplies. Location: 100 Mc Clellan St, Norwood, NJ 07648 Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time Pot Washer/Stocking Benefits Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Paid time off, paid sick time and paid holidays 401(k) with up to 5% matching Daily pay option Employee-only discounts, perks and rewards programs Pot Washer/Stocking Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and properly store pots, pans, trays, utensils, and kitchen equipment Take out garbage and recycling and maintain clean waste areas Clean and sanitize all kitchen areas, including floors, walls, workstations, and equipment Receive and put away deliveries, ensuring items are stored correctly and safely Stock kitchen supplies, food items, and storage areas as needed Clean and organize freezer and storage areas to maintain proper sanitation and accessibility Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure proper use of chemicals and temperatures Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies Assist dietary staff with additional kitchen support duties as needed Pot Washer/Stocking Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required Previous kitchen, food service, or healthcare experience is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Excelcare is an equal opportunity employer.
