Human Resources ManagerA manufacturing company with domestic and international operations is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support its workforce and strategic planning efforts.This individual will work closely with internal teams and external HR service providers to ensure talent acquisition, performance management, employee development, and incentive compensation programs are effectively implemented. The Human Resources Manager will partner with organizational leaders to strengthen company culture, employee engagement, and operational performance.Responsibilities include developing, updating, and implementing employee handbooks, HR policies, and procedures; supporting the organization's strategic business objectives; leading talent acquisition, workforce planning, hiring, and employment agreement negotiations; developing and delivering HR initiatives that improve employee performance and engagement; administering payroll, retirement, and employee benefit programs in partnership with external vendors; ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws, including ERISA and EEO requirements; developing and managing an annual performance management process that aligns employee goals and compensation with organizational objectives; administering incentive compensation plans and overseeing calculations and processing; maintaining organizational charts and employee directories; developing and managing training programs that support employee development and career growth; recommending policies, procedures, and practices that improve departmental efficiency and effectiveness; maintaining HR information system records and preparing HR and payroll reports; partnering with hiring managers to develop effective talent sourcing and recruitment strategies; working with organizational leaders to identify, develop, and monitor high potential employees; leading the HR strategy, budgeting, hiring, and communications associated with major operational or facility transitions; interpreting and administering applicable collective bargaining agreements; and performing other duties as assigned.Education, experience, skills, and abilities include at least eight years of HR management experience; a bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related discipline; excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR practices; high levels of professionalism, curiosity, initiative, and commitment; strong business acumen and the ability to synthesize and analyze information effectively; a hands on, proactive working style; ability to build organizational support and alignment for HR initiatives and programs; strong project management skills and a results focused approach; ability to think and act strategically while balancing immediate and long term organizational needs; ability to establish effective partnerships across all areas and levels of the organization; demonstrated success managing multiple HR functions; strong attention to detail and consistent follow through; manufacturing industry experience; SHRM CP, SHRM SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred; experience supporting a private equity backed organization preferred; experience working with a professional employer organization is a plus; and experience with mergers, acquisitions, and union represented workforces preferred.
