Job Description
Exciting Opportunity for Pediatric Ambulatory Nurse!

Job Description:


- Shift: Rotating schedule of 4 days (8-hour shifts) one week and 5 days (8-hour shifts) the following week.
- Total hours: 32 hours one week and 40 hours the next, totaling 36 hours every 2 weeks.
- Varied start times to accommodate the schedule.
- No holidays, weekends, or on-call duty.

Requirements:


- Minimum 2 years of experience required; pediatric or ambulatory experience highly preferred.
- Travel experience preferred if no ambulatory experience.
- Will float to Somerville Pediatrics if needed.
- AHA BLS certification required; ambulatory or pediatric certification preferred.
- Patient age group: 0-22 years.

Unit Focus:


- Primary Care Pediatrics - handling primary care diagnoses (asthma, well child visits, etc.).
- Vaccine competence is a must as the majority of visits involve administering vaccines to children and adolescents.

Additional Qualifications:


- Must have acute care experience.
- 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references in matching specialty.
- Skills checklist in matching specialty required.
- Valid driver's license with address matching demographic information.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Flu vaccine required during flu season.
- NURSYS verification report pulled within the last week showing ACTIVE current or conditional Massachusetts RN license (must include all licenses, past or present).
- RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at the time of submission; it cannot be changed after confirmation.
- EMR Experience Preferred: EPIC.
