Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to gain insights into clients' mental health concerns and to identify their strengths and needs.

• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals based on assessment findings.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, documenting outcomes and adapting treatment strategies to ensure optimal care.

• Engage in collaborative care by partnering with healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and case managers, to coordinate client support.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and access to essential mental health services and community resources.

• Uphold high standards of ethical practice and confidentiality, adhering to state licensing board guidelines and professional organizations' ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT in the state of New York.

• Proficient in evidence-based treatment methods including CBT and DBT, with a proven record of effective client outcomes.
