Mayrant Transportation LLC is a small locally owned and operated transportation company. that is veteran owned and operated. We are looking for a highly qualified OTR Class A flatbed/step deck, dry van, and 26ft box truck owner operators to join our team and grow with us. You will have the option to self dispatch, communicate with brokers, and shippers. With unlimited access to the load board, access to rate confirmation you will stay in control. You will be responsible for managing long-haul and regional interstate freight deliveries using your own equipment. This role specializes in flatbed/step deck, dry van, and ltl freight, requiring expertise in vehicle maintenance, cargo securement, and route planning to ensure safe and efficient delivery across diverse regions.

Responsibilities

• Manage long-haul and regional deliveries using owner-provided flatbed and step deck equipment
• Perform regular vehicle maintenance and safety inspections
• Load and unload specialized freight safely and efficiently
• Plan and optimize routes for timely and cost-effective deliveries
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain accurate logbooks and necessary delivery paperwork
• Manage fuel consumption to optimize operational costs
• Inspect cargo and equipment for damage and secure freight properly
• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch

Preferred Qualifications

• 25 years old
• 2+ years of OTR long-haul trucking experience
• 1 year flat bed / step-deck experience
• Must be able to speak English
• Tractor must be 10 years old or newer
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• 10 yr MVR (REQUIRED)
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (Med Card)
• No moving violations in the last 5 years
• No Preventable Accidents within the last 5
• No DUI
• No sap
• TWIC card (willing to obtain)
• Strong skills in route planning, vehicle maintenance, cargo securement, and logbook management
• Proven safety compliance and customer service abilities
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills
