Territory Sales Manager

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a global leader in innovative building technology to recruit an ambitious and commercially driven Territory Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a true hunter-style sales professional who enjoys creating opportunities, opening doors and building a territory from the ground up. You will represent a highly innovative and technically advanced solution that is transforming how commercial buildings manage performance, energy efficiency, sustainability and occupant comfort.

The successful candidate will take ownership of developing new business opportunities across key metropolitan markets, building relationships with senior decision-makers and managing complex, long-cycle sales opportunities from initial engagement through to project completion.

This is not a traditional account management role. We are looking for someone who is proactive, entrepreneurial and comfortable generating their own pipeline through networking, relationship building, industry events and strategic business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan across key metropolitan markets.
• Identify, pursue and develop new business opportunities with developers, building owners, investors, architects, consultants and contractor partners.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of complex, long-cycle sales opportunities.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers throughout the commercial real estate and construction ecosystem.
• Educate customers and stakeholders on the benefits and value proposition of a highly technical building solution.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, commercially compelling solutions.
• Drive specification and early-stage engagement to influence projects before purchasing decisions are made.
• Generate opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events and strategic relationship building.
• Manage the full sales process from initial opportunity identification through to negotiation and project award.
• Work closely with internal sales, marketing, technical and operational teams to support successful project delivery.
• Monitor market activity, construction pipelines and emerging opportunities within the territory.
• Represent the business at industry events, customer meetings and relevant networking opportunities.
