Machine Assembler

Summary Of Position Perform complete and independent setup of various machine tools and perform any operation within the machine’s capacity, working from prints, sketches, oral and written instructions to determine the sequence of operations to be performed, dimensions and tolerances to be held, tools to use, method of locating, aligning and holding work, and feeds and speeds. Skills Required Must be knowledgeable in machine shop operations Capability to use various machine shop tools and equipment. CNC Mills, Manual Mills and Lathe Work independently as well as in a team atmosphere with minimal supervision Ability to read measurement devices and perform accurate inspections Must be able to read blueprints and machine parts to tolerance Good organization and problem‑solving skills Must be able to lift, push, or pull 40–80 lbs Task Descriptions Makes engineered parts for machinery from sketches and blueprints Perform set‑up and operate various machine tools to accomplish production machinery functions Use milling, drilling, grinding, and other machine shop equipment Decipher sketches, blueprints, and engineering details Run electronic equipment and systems to perform work Assemble in‑house tooling Perform other duties as requested or as deemed appropriate Conform with the environmental policy and procedures and with the requirements of the environmental management system Our Commitment to You We're actively taking steps to make sure our culture, processes and practices promote equal opportunity for all.
