Field Service Technician

Perform refurbishing, repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment installation at customer facilities and in-house. Provide technical support to customers, both onsite and remotely as needed. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement corrective action. Assist in processing repair and service quotes and orders. Conduct follow-up with customers regarding service quotes and repairs. Support the Repair & Service Manager and administrative team as needed. Comply with all policies outlined in the Advanced Machine & Engineering or Hennig, Inc. Quality Manual, Procedures, and Work Instructions. Perform other duties as assigned. Travel Requirements (Critical Component of Role) Approximately 80% travel required nationwide. Initial training will take place at the home base facility for 2–4 months before independent travel assignments. 20% road service incentive provided for overnight travel assignments. Flexibility to travel on short notice when required. Requirements Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required. Experience 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Sheet metal experience is helpful. Electrical troubleshooting experience strongly preferred. Skills Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability preferred. Ability to read measuring instruments and apply basic mathematical skills. Strong organizational skills. Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, and push/pull as required. Visual acuity sufficient to read measuring instruments (with accommodation if required). Ability to monitor equipment sounds to identify mechanical changes.
