Waterville Veterinary Clinic is hiring a Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. We are a large, advanced general practice with a 12-doctor team providing general practice and urgent care, along with a wide range of advanced veterinary services.

LVT, CVT, or RVT required, or must be eligible for licensure.

What you'll do

As a Veterinary Technician, you will work alongside our doctors and support teams to provide high-quality patient care in a busy, varied hospital environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing nursing care and monitoring hospitalized patients
• Assisting with appointments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
• Supporting routine and advanced surgical procedures
• Assisting with urgent and emergent patient care
• Performing laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Educating clients on patient care and treatment plans
• Supporting low-stress handling and patient comfort
• Working collaboratively with doctors and other veterinary team members
• Helping mentor and support other team members as your experience allows

Our caseload offers a lot of variety, so no two days look exactly the same.

We're looking for someone who

• Is an LVT, CVT, RVT, or eligible for licensure

Schedule

Choose the schedule that works best for you:

• 3 twelve-hour shifts, or
• 4 ten-hour shifts
• Infrequent weekend rotations

Compensation

$23–$28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
