Detailed Job Description:

The Senior Applications Systems Analyst is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing major information systems. As the Systems Analyst your responsibilities will include system administration and, potentially, primary system liaison to clients.

The Senior Applications Systems Analyst will:

• Confer with the business to create a technical specification based on business needs, application and system changes and determine system requirements
• Design data entry and query screen layouts; report layouts, and file layouts for systems to outline the user interface using a hardware, software, and system utilities tools
• Write and revise program and system specifications to create directions for development and modifications of program code
• Plan, monitor and control projects to effectively use time and programming resources, time management skills, and project management software
• Complete a variety of complex technical tasks, such as designing, documenting, and programming logic
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of relevant work experience
• Significant design experience in Relational Databases, Online Systems, and Web-Based Applications
• Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including scripting, is required.
• Development experience would be a strong asset.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Candidates should be open to using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot .
• Experience with the.NET framework is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of Snowflake and Tableau is a plus.
• Must have experience working in Agile environments; familiarity with Jira is a plus.
• AWS experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
