Opportunity Overview:

We are recruiting for a Hardware Test Technician withinour New Product Introduction Group (NPI-Pilot Line team), Teradyne Memory Business Unit to join our team in San Jose, CA. This role is on site in our San Jose, CA office 5x week.

• Responsible for conducting tests and evaluations on products (Tester and PCBA) to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Conduct Testing: Test technicians perform various tests to evaluate the functionality, reliability, and durability of Nextest products. This can include stress tests, performance evaluations, and quality assurance checks.
• Document Results: After conducting tests, recording and interpreting the results, providing detailed data to engineers and stakeholders to inform product development and improvements.
• Maintain Equipment: Test technicians are responsible for the upkeep of testing equipment, including regular cleaning, calibration, debug and repairs to ensure accurate testing results.

• Able to troubleshoot PCBA at component level
• Able to repair PCBA at component level
• Able to use and troubleshoot Test Equipment Tools (Oscilloscope, Meter)
• Able to identify product and equipment failures
• 5+ years of related experience is desired
• Must be able to communicate with cross functional personnel (Verbally and by email)
• The ability to be on site 5x days a week, between 7am-5pm
• Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PDF/etc.)
• Ability of lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Needs to be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to work overtime

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $58,600 - $93,800. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
