Clinical Pharmacist
Black Women's Mental Health Institute
Role: Provides pharmaceutical care, verifies medication orders, compounds, and dispenses pharmaceuticals in compliance with regulations and hospital policies. Acts as a resource for healthcare professionals, including students and residents, and supervises pharmacy technicians and interns. Key Responsibilities Ensures medication safety and appropriateness through order review, dispensing, patient counseling, and monitoring. Delivers clinical consultation, recommending safe, effective, and cost-efficient pharmacotherapy. Oversees medication dispensing to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Precepts pharmacy students and residents. Maintains safety and performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D or Bachelor of Pharmacy) from an accredited institution. Licensed as a pharmacist in applicable states. Strong attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills. Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days. #J-18808-Ljbffr
