Job Opportunity

Burn and Reconstructive Centers of America (BRCA) is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated professionals in the critical care, trauma, and burn arenas. BRCA is the nation's largest burn network with locations throughout the United States. Candidates must be willing to travel, as needed, and participate in staff education.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus is on the reconstructive care of patients.
  • Patient management in the inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic.
  • Team approach and collaborative environment.
  • Perform patient history and physicals.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays and provide diagnosis.
  • Perform medical treatment and diagnostic procedures.
  • Perform minor surgical procedures.
  • 1st or 2nd assist during surgery, as required by supervising physician and/or training.
  • Instruct and counsel patients on treatment plans.
  • Preoperative and postoperative care.
  • Medication prescribing may also be necessary depending on state/facility.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • Successful completion of PANCE.
  • Maintain NCCPA Certification.
  • Licensure in state practicing.
