This is a high‑ownership, trial‑focused role for an attorney who is ready to lead cases, drive strategy, work directly with business owners, and help clients protect what they’ve built during high‑stakes disputes. This is not a backseat litigation role. You will be trusted to manage matters, advise clients, appear in court, develop case strategy, and move cases forward with confidence and sound judgment. What You’ll Do Manage business litigation matters from start to finish Lead litigation strategy, including pleadings, discovery, motions, hearings, mediations, trial preparation, and trial Serve as a primary point of contact for clients Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials Draft and argue motions, prepare pleadings, manage discovery, and evaluate case risk Work with experts, witnesses, opposing counsel, and internal team members Delegate effectively to support staff and keep matters moving Maintain accurate and timely billing entries What We’re Looking For Active membership in good standing with the California Bar 5–7+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably business litigation Experience managing cases with a meaningful level of ownership Courtroom experience, including hearings, motions, trials, arbitrations, or similar proceedings Strong legal writing, research, analysis, and advocacy skills Ability to work directly with business owners and decision‑makers Ability to work independently while also operating within a collaborative firm structure Strong judgment, professionalism, and client‑service instincts This May Be a Strong Fit If You Are A business litigator at a small or mid‑size firm who is ready for more ownership An attorney who wants to lead cases instead of simply supporting them Someone who enjoys strategy, client counseling, and courtroom advocacy A litigator who values autonomy, structure, collaboration, and high standards Someone who wants to help build the next stage of a growing litigation practice Benefits & Perks Monthly medical stipend Monthly Wi‑Fi stipend Monthly cell phone stipend Firm‑provided laptop Flexible approach to time off and scheduling U.S. holidays observed The firm is actively working toward offering firm‑wide health insurance and a retirement plan within the next 12 to 18 months.
