We are currently seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join us on a short-term contract basis to help maintain our high standard of care while supporting our team and patients during this busy period. Title Licensed Dental Hygienist Job Description Welcome patients and ensure they feel comfortable and at ease before examinations Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment according to health and safety protocols Conduct initial oral screenings and review patient dental health histories Perform dental cleanings including plaque removal and fluoride applications to protect teeth Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care techniques, including demonstrating effective brushing and flossing methods Provide post-treatment instructions and support to patients following dental procedures Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning Collaborate with the dentist to identify appropriate treatment options for diseases such as gum disease and oral cancer Maintain accurate patient documentation and update dental charts promptly Monitor and manage dental supplies to ensure availability and proper storage Salary Range part-time $32 - $37 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
