Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing expert patient care within the intensive care unit, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. They deliver comprehensive nursing services to critically ill patients, using advanced clinical skills and collaborative communication.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' clinical conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions based on assessments and prescribed treatments.
• Monitor hemodynamic parameters, diagnostic results, and patient responses to treatment.
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status and changes.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and health management.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff and support personnel in delivering optimal care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current and valid State RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred.
• Demonstrate at least one year of experience in an acute care hospital, critical care setting.
• Must have MEPIC EMR experience.
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
• Show strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
