Job Description\n Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Edmond, Oklahoma.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: MRI Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below \n Required: One yearoftravel experience is preferred but will consider sixmonths’travel \n Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.\n Job Title: MRI TechnologistJob Summary:\n Under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor/preceptor, this entry-level position works to achieve the initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations for the purpose of aiding medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of simple to complex conditions, defects, and/or diseases.Required Qualifications:\n • Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty OR graduate of a JRCERT accredited educational program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty.\n • Must meet applicant eligibility requirements for MRI Certification (must be achieved within 12 months of hire date).\n • AHA BLS certification.Preferred Qualifications:\n • Associate’s degree or higher.Additional Information:\n • Must possess core knowledge and understanding of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies, and terminology associated with the primary specialty for which hired and credentialed.\n • Ability to apply core-level primary specialty theory, practices, and techniques to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation with general supervision or assistance.\n • Must display a high level of initiative, effort, and commitment towards completing assignments efficiently.\n • Ability to work and communicate with staff, patients, and their families in a professional, polite, courteous, compassionate, and cooperative manner.\n • Must be able to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.\n • Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment.\n \n Integrated Healthcare Services Job ID #37591085.
