Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 5+ years of critical care experience, including 2-3 years in NICU, for a rotating night shift travel position.

Details

• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (1900–0730)
• Three 12-hour shifts per week with no set scheduled days; rotating schedule
• Critical care setting with NICU focus
• Neonatal intubation performed in this role
• Occasional call for neonatal transports

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of critical care experience, with 2–3 years specifically in NICU
• Neonatal intubation experience required
• NBRC-RRT or NBRC-CRT credential preferred
• Active, unrestricted Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required (license required if applicable)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and NRP
• Minimum 2 supervisor references required: one from the past year and one from within the past two years
• Date of birth and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal patients, including neonatal intubation and transport support
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO may not be considered
• Candidates with a prior hit on their license will not be considered
• A specialty-specific skills checklist completed within the past year is required
