Overview Midwest Dysphagia Consultants provides specialized dysphagia evaluations and mobile swallowing studies across Indianapolis and surrounding areas. The practice is part of a network with sister locations in New England, Texas and Houston. Responsibilities Conduct swallowing evaluations on patients with swallowing disorders. Perform modified barium swallow studies and other dysphagia assessments. Operate mobile examination unit and coordinate scheduling to meet requests within 24–72 hours, often same day. Collaborate with speech–language pathologists and support staff across multiple facilities. All physicians with varied experience levels are encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits Annual income for 4–5 days per week ranges from $160,000 to $225,000+ depending on volume. No weekend or night call; malpractice insurance paid by the practice, including tail coverage. Health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and educational stipend.
