Job Title Physical Therapist Location Shelton, Connecticut Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans within a skilled nursing facility setting
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other physical therapy interventions to promote patient recovery
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Connecticut
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems used in SNF environments
- Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a skilled nursing facility through a structured 13-week contract assignment
- Supportive placement process with a dedicated team to assist you throughout your contract
