$143.56k - $191.89k

The US Oncology Network

Overview

It may sound cliché, but it is true. A career taking care of cancer patients is a calling for most all of us. It's much more than a job. Each of us has a unique story that brought us to Compass Oncology, but those stories usually share common themes of care, compassion, and commitment. No matter the role each Compass team member serves in, the goal is the same: to provide the best care possible for each and every one of our patients.

Compass Oncology, the Pacific Northwest's largest privately owned cancer care group, is dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered cancer treatment and support services. Our Vancouver Cancer Center is home to a highly skilled Radiation Oncology team committed to delivering the highest quality care through advanced technology, clinical excellence, and compassionate service. The Dosimetrist plays a critical role in the radiation oncology team, collaborating closely with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Physicists to develop, optimize, and evaluate high-quality radiation treatment plans. Using advanced treatment planning systems, patient imaging, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, this position designs precise treatment plans that maximize dose delivery to targeted tumor regions while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissues and critical structures. The Dosimetrist ensures accurate plan calculations, supports safe and effective patient care, and maintains compliance with established clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies, including the US Oncology Compliance Program, Code of Ethics, and Business Standards.
