Physician Assistant – Post‑Acute & Rehabilitative Care (North Carolina) We are a growing, physician‑owned medical group expanding in Greensboro, NC, seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The role focuses on post‑acute and rehabilitative care, including orthopedic recovery, stroke management, and pain management, working alongside a collaborative lead provider. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical care to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Manage patients with orthopedic rehab needs, post‑stroke care, and chronic pain conditions. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR. Required Qualifications Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in North Carolina. Active DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start) – required. Minimum one year of clinical experience as a PA (SNF, geriatrics, internal medicine, or rehab experience strongly preferred). Experience managing adult/geriatric patient populations. Strong clinical decision‑making and time‑management skills. Comfortable working independently in an SNF setting. Preferred Experience Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience. Background in internal medicine, geriatrics, or physical medicine & rehabilitation (PM&R). Experience with orthopedic, stroke, or pain management patients. Schedule & Setting Monday through Friday. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. May be exposed to blood‑borne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards. Must wear required PPE per company and/or facility requirements. Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
