Physical Therapist - School Setting in Tracy, CA

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Physical Therapist license for California
• Experience in pediatric settings, preferably within schools
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and staff
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with therapy equipment and adaptive technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students, including assessments, goal setting, and progress evaluation
• Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Provide direct therapy sessions and integrate exercises/strategies into students' daily routines
• Consult with teachers and staff to recommend classroom modifications or equipment to support student needs
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and therapy goals
• Maintain organized and detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
