This role in summaryThe Whirlpool Findlay Manufacturing organization is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Analyst, Engineering. This role will be located onsite at our Findlay, OH manufacturing plant. In this position, you will: Drive Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Engagement throughout the entire plantCoach peers through the execution of World Class Manufacturing principlesDevelop short-term and long-term plans and programs to improve productivity and capacity and prepare the necessary budgets and justifications for these projectsDrive continuous improvement in the organizational, technical, and business information processes/systems through lean/innovative thinking and ideasYour responsibilities will includeDrive projects to ensure availability of production equipmentIdentify and implement productivity projects within the maintenance and tooling departmentCoordinate cross functionally to ensure internal and external rules and regulations are followedImplement lean initiatives related to Standardized Work, Quality, and 5SCommunicate and escalate pertinent issues across numerous shiftsDevelop and implement capital spending plans based on pertinent risk to the business.Facilitate both internal and external projects on top of daily activities to meet project deadlinesManage external contractors as needed for breakdown repairs and project workClose collaboration with the Maintenance Manager on transitioning from breakdown maintenance to proactive maintenance for equipment throughout the plantFacilitate departmental training Perform additional duties and assignments that may be required by management from time to timeFlexibility to change shifts or departments as required to meet the operational needsMinimum requirementsBachelor of Science Degree In Engineering Field1+ years of Leadership experience in manufacturingPreferred skills and experiencesSAP experience (Plant Maintenance Module)WCM (World Class Manufacturing) Experience (EWO, SMP, KPI, MTTR, MTBF)Effective Management Of Priorities, Expectations, and AccountabilityCapital Project ManagementOPEX Black Belt CertificationWhat we offerGenerous benefits package, Whirlpool employee discount, fitness & educational reimbursement programs, kitchenettes, and more!
