Student Intern

Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Intern. In this role, the Student Research Intern will support research projects focused on blood-based biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders within the NYU Grossman School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry. Job Responsibilities Extract, clean, and harmonize research datasets (e.g., ADNI). Perform statistical analyses of biomarker, neuroimaging, and cognitive data. Generate figures, tables, and data visualizations. Conduct literature reviews and assist with manuscript preparation. Present findings at research meetings and contribute to abstracts and publications. Minimum Qualifications Medical student, graduate student, or advanced undergraduate with strong quantitative skills. Interest in Alzheimer's disease, biomarkers, aging, or neuroscience research. Preferred Qualifications Experience with R, Python, SAS, or similar statistical software. Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $17.00 - $17.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
