Sunday Evening Musician: Holy Martyrs

Position Overview Holy Martyrs Catholic Church in Medina, Ohio is seeking a talented and dedicated musician to lead the musical worship at our Sunday 5:00 PM Mass. We are primarily seeking a Musical Leader well-versed in contemporary worship styles, though a musician with more traditional experience may be a viable option depending on the candidate's background and gifts. Option A: Contemporary Worship Leader Responsibilities Accompany the congregation on guitar or piano Vocally lead the assembly in sung worship throughout the Mass Plan liturgically appropriate music in alignment with the Church calendar and lectionary Create a digital worship aid for each Mass Desired Qualifications Proficiency in guitar and/or piano Confident vocal presence and ability to lead congregational singing Familiarity with contemporary Catholic worship music Understanding of Catholic liturgy and the Mass Option B: Traditional Worship Leader Utilize provided worship plans and worship aids to guide the liturgy Vocally lead the congregation in song Accompany from the organ or piano Desired Qualifications Proficiency in piano and/or organ Experience with Catholic hymnody and liturgical song Ability to work within established liturgical frameworks About Our Facilities Boston grand piano 3-manual Allen Renaissance Digital Organ Digital sound system operable via phone or tablet app #J-18808-Ljbffr Catholic Diocese of Cleveland
