Direct Support Professional (DSP)

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at ASG Home Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centered care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, and we are seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, communities, and day programs
- Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management
- Foster positive relationships and provide emotional support to individuals and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of services and progress
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if applicable)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background checks and obtain necessary certifications
